    Abstract:

Abstract:The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau lies in the junction between the Indian plate and Eurasian plate, on the northern margin of Gondwanaland. Collision of the Indian plate with the Eurasian plate about 65 Ma ago resulted in reworking of the tectonic framework and metallic ore deposits and also the formation of a new tectonic framework and new metallic ore deposits, which made metallic ore deposits on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau distinctive. This paper deals with dominant mineral deposits of such metals as chromium, iron, copper-molybdenum, lead-zinc, tin, gold, antimony and cesium on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
