Abstract: Research Objective The development history of geological cultural villages in China and even in the world is very short. Compared with beautiful villages and rural tourism demonstration villages, they are still relatively unknown. As a new thing, the understanding of the scientific connotation, the recognition of the construction content and the implementation path of geological cultural villages are extremely urgent and necessary. Research Method Therefore, taking the construction of Yujiazhai Geological Cultural Village as an example, through the collection of materials and field investigations, a comprehensive investigation was conducted on the geological relics, land resources, natural environment and social humanistic resources around Yujiazhai Village. Research Result It was found that Yujiazhai Geological Cultural Village takes Quaternary basalt, strontium-rich land and natural springs as its core, integrates unique earth, fire and water landform landscapes, and combines the village's special geography, culture and history to create a "geology + ecology" tourism type geological cultural village. Conclusion The unique geological relic resources, beautiful natural landscapes and profound humanistic historical heritage within the Yujiazhai village area have laid a solid resource foundation for the construction of geological cultural villages. By integrating geological relic resources, historical relic resources, humanistic resources and characteristic agricultural product resources, and on the basis of popular science education, the construction of geological cultural villages that integrate agricultural sightseeing, geological education and natural popular science is carried out to form a more attractive comprehensive tourism product system for tourists. Among them, the popular science explanation system and geological products are indispensable parts in the construction of geological cultural villages, providing support for the subsequent development of geological cultural villages; in the process of rural tourism development, large-scale construction is not carried out, and the protection of geological relic resources is taken as the starting point to improve the rural geological environment governance system; the construction of Yujiazhai Geological Cultural Village has very significant regional significance. Building a coordinated regional development system with complementary functions and gradually becoming a geological cultural village with complete infrastructure and reasonable industrial structure is a direction worth exploring for the future development of Yujiazhai Geological Cultural Village.
