    雪峰隆起西南缘寒武系变马冲组页岩气地质特征与勘探潜力

    Geological characteristics and exploration potential of shale gas in Cambrian Bianmachong Formation in the southwestern margin of Xuefeng uplift

      研究目的 雪峰隆起西南缘震旦系-寒武系发育多套黑色页岩,但除牛蹄塘组外其他层组研究不足。近年在丹寨地区实施的贵丹地1井寒武系变马冲组又有新的页岩气发现,有必要对该套页岩进行页岩气地质条件与勘探潜力评价。
      研究方法 基于野外地质调查、钻探资料,结合有机地化、扫描电镜、高压压汞、低温液氮吸附分析测试等手段,对雪峰隆起西南缘不同地区变马冲组页岩气地质特征进行综合的对比研究。
      研究结果 研究表明:(1)黑色页岩发育严格受深水陆棚相控制,主要为北东向带状分布,北部岑巩地区变马冲组中部含砂较高,黑色页岩发育在上部和下部,厚度150~300 m;南部丹寨地区为一套稳定沉积的灰黑色炭质泥岩,厚度50~100 m,分布面积约3000 km2。(2)黑色页岩TOC南北具有一定差异,南部较北部高,北部平均含量1.13%,南部平均为 1.53%,有机质类型好,为 I~ II1型腐泥型,Ro平均为 2.36%~2.41%,热演化程度适中,具有一定生气能力。(3)页岩为低孔低渗储层,有机质孔、晶间孔、层间孔、矿物溶孔为页岩气富集提供了储集空间,但有机质孔以孤立孔隙为主,总体发育较弱,微裂缝及劈理域具备较好的连通性,孔隙以2~40 nm介孔为主,发育少量微米级宏孔,可形成较高孔隙发育层段。
      结论 综合页岩有机地化、储集性能等指标认为雪峰隆起西南缘南部富有机质页岩地质条件变好,且部分层段页岩具有较好含气性,勘探潜力较大,是该地区除牛蹄塘组之外的又一套页岩气勘探潜力层组。

       

      Abstract:
      This paper is the result of Southern China shale gas geological survey engineering.
      Multiple sets of the Sinian-Cambrian organic-rich shales developed along the southwestern margin of the Xuefeng Uplift. However, There are still some insufficiencies in researches on other organic-rich shales without the Niutitang Formation. Recent years, shale gas of the Bianmachong Formation was newly discovered from the Well Guidan-1 in the Danzhai area, therefore, it is necessary to systematically evaluate this interval. In this study, we conduct a comprehensively correlative analysis of geological characteristics of the Bianmachong Formation shale across different regions of the southwestern Xuefeng Uplift, in combination with field geological surveys, drilling data, organic geochemistry, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-pressure mercury intrusion (MICP), and low-temperature nitrogen adsorption (LTNA) techniques. Some main findings include: (1) Black shales were strictly controlled by deep-water shelf facies, primarily exhibiting a NE-trending distribution of facies belt. In the Cenggong area of the northern margin of the Xuefeng Uplift, the middle Bianmachong Formation contained higher sandy component, and organic-rich shales developed in the upper and lower parts withca. 150–300 m thickness . In contrast, the Bianmachong Formation in the Danzhai area of the northern margin of the Xuefeng Uplift was characterized by a relatively stable suite of gray-black carbonaceous mudstone with a thickness of 50–100 m. (2) TOC of organic-rich shales also show regional variations: TOC in the northern area has an average valueof 1.13%, conversely, TOC in the southern area shows higher values (average = 1.53%). The type of organic matter is I–II1 type sapropelic kerogen, with an average vitrinite reflectance (Ro) of 2.36–2.41%, indicating moderate thermal maturity and gas-generating potential. (3) The shale reservoirs are characterized by low porosity and permeability. Pores such as organic matter pores, intercrystalline pores, interlayer pores, and mineral dissolution pores provided storage space for shale-gas enrichment. pore feature of organic matter is predominantly isolated and poorly developed, however, microfractures and cleavage domains exhibit better storage capacity. The pore size distribution is dominated by mesopores (2–40 nm), with minor micrometer-scale macropores, which form local high-porosity intervals. Integratedly evaluating indices of geochemistry and reservoir property suggest that shale geological conditions are preferable in the southern sector of the southwestern Xuefeng Uplift , and favorable gas-bearing characteristics in certain intervals of the Bianmachong Formation. Therefore, The Bianmachong Formation would be a promising exploration target excluded the Niutitang Formation in the southwestern margin of Xuefeng uplift.
