Abstract: Global geological?mineral database involves different sources,?multiple storage formats,?lots of languages and?different scales,?and hence the quality of?data is the key to the capability of information service for the society.?During the database construction,?project?group compiles?a standard document,?establishes a quality control?mechanism,?programs a?quality check software?and?forms a?new?data quality control pattern.?This paper?focuses on the?quality?control mechanism of database?construction,?the data quality content and?the?method of quality inspection?technology.
