This is an open access journal, all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.The journal content is archived in Nationali Library of China with a long-term preservation service. 

User Rights

The journal uses the Creative Commons license to allow third-party users to share according to Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND). Third parties are allowed to reprint articles published in this journal, provided that the author's name must be retained in these processes, no changes to the article, no re-creation, and no commercial use. For details, please visit https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.

Author Rights

Authors are required to sign a "copyright transfer agreement" with the editorial department, transferring the copyright to Geology in China Editorial Department, but have the right to allow third parties to share their articles (such as storing them in the institutional knowledge base) under a Creative Commons license, and for other academic purposes.

Publishing cost

In order to support open access publishing, Geology in China charges article publishing fees, which needs to be paid by the author or his organization and funded projects. Fee rate is RMB 300 yuan per white-black page, RMB 800 yuan per color page. Manuscript review fee: 300 yuan per long manuscript (publishing page over 5), 150 yuan per short manuscript (publishing page less than 4).  

If the author does not have funds to pay the article publishing fees, he can apply for fee reduction or waiver. Application method: The corresponding author submits the written application (scanning and photographing) sealed by the scientific research management department and provides the contact telephone. Fees can be reduced or waived upon confirmation by the Geology in China Editorial Department.
