  • Abstract: This paper analyzes the necessity of applying Geographic Information System (GIS) to the field of oil exploration. Combined with the nature of the core business, this paper also presents the key technologies and applications of oilfield business data visualization in SGIS, which is based on China’s petrochemical independent intellectual property rights. Moreover, the resource integration with three-dimensional visualization technology and its application to the oilfield business data are discussed. The system realizes the management integration of ground geographic information in oil and gas exploration and underground geological model of the spatial data. The system also dynamically associates the production with management on the ground and underground geological objects analysis. The new system can provide valuable experience for the study and application of the digital oilfield technology.
